  • . . . I realized and/or decided today that "Hel-the-Sister-in-Law" is a prostitute. Or, was. And faceblind. Obviously my misogynistic tendencies and inability to write females nicely strikes again.

    Also, I watched the Royal Pains pilot tonight. I'm such a sucker -- I'm completely in love with Tucker Bryant after one episode of being a guest/patient. I hope he turns into a regular. Also, I need to figure out how to edit a TV Tropes page to add "black card reference." :> I love those.

    HANK: We need to get you to a hospital!
    TUCKER: The Hamptons Heritage -- no way man, Dad calls it the local cemetery.
    HANK: What would your dad suggest we do??
    TUCKER: Go into my wallet and get the little black card that says American Express on it.

    Lulsy squees. haha, seriously, I am so lame -- I'm about to go rewatch on hulu.

    So it seems I'm going through a very... musical phase lately.  Hurry up and talk some sense into me before I do something crazy like sell all my game systems for a violin.

    Actually, I do kind of want to get rid of all my video game stuff.  All it does is just sort of sit there, taking up space and keeping me from having a simple and productive life.  Plus, hey, free money.

    Well, I'll probably keep my DS, for the utility of the Internet browser and MyJapanese Coach and such, but I'll get rid of most of the rest of the games.

    and also who is this Hel-the-sister-in-law you speak of I have no idea whatsoever.

  • pandasp0ts

    @Omelettes - You're so add, I'm sure you're over your phase now. :P But just in case: no. sit. bad dog.

    and she's not a main *yet* so you wouldn't. I've only ever mentioned her in a throw away sort of way.

    @pandasp0ts - I learned the treble part to a short piano piece today.  On my own.  And also most of the bass part.  And before that I've never really played piano in my life.  So, I guess I'm not quite over it yet.  XD.

    But I really really reeeeallly want to buy a violin (at this moment)...

    PleEEEEAse?  Just a little one?

    Or maybe a guitar?  Those are cheap.  And I have a whole guitar chord chart my dad bought me a long time ago that I need to not let go to waste.

    @Omelettes - Dude, you should write something, even a short story set in the real world so i can nod too it. i'm determined to finish Play before fathers day because he'd love that (getting it lulu'd) and i'd love the first thing i have bound to be in a universe clearly compatible with yours.

    @pandasp0ts - The autobiography doesn't count?

    XD.  I'll do what I can.  But you know how I am with... *cringe* normal writing.

    Well, I can do it if it's a romance.  I love writing chemistries and such.  But, err, I'll have to start on an entirely clean slate with new characters.

    Unless you want to have your characters randomly say hello one day to another incarnation of Austin McCutchen.

    @pandasp0ts - Yes.  I thought up something, and blogged a bit about it.  A guy named Ben Zombie, who works as a cashier and sleeps and does very little else.  And people for some reason always come to bug him with their problems.  That's what I've got so far.  I think I may try to introduce him to a girl as well, but I'm not sure he'll be interested.

    Ah!  I've got it!  I think I'll hook him up with a codependent girl.  They'd be perfect for each other.  Ben Zombie doesn't really have a will or ambitions of his own, and... neither does she, for different reasons, and so she clings to him and he lets her, and and and then we see what happens from there.

    It'll be a relatively short novel, probably.  Maybe fifteen or sixteen chapters.  Should probably take me a month if I marathon it.  And, of course, to get into the zombie mindset, I'll pretty much have to marathon it...

    You know how I am; this's about the closest I can get to the real world.

    Anyway, you get to name the codependent chick, and then I'll adopt her.

    @Omelettes - Haha I love it.
    but you know I can't be trusted with Spazzbot naming. :) I simply have no self control.

  • pandasp0ts

    @Omelettes - Totally digging the name, btw. :]

  • Omelettes

    @pandasp0ts - Aww.  You won't name her?  :[ and golly-darn.  Guess I'll just have to figure out who she is myself...

  • Omelettes

    @pandasp0ts - And thanks.  :-]]]]]

    @pandasp0ts - Ah.  By the way, for the HP6 us-watching-movie-no-doubt-in-awesome-costumes, I'll be arriving July 11, heading back home July 16.

    Grr.  My sister constantly has Kiss FM playing on her radio, and all her corrupt Top 40 songs, they permeate my brain!

    I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT HOW MUCH LADY GAGA WANTS TO TAKE A RIDE ON THE LISTENER'S DISCO STICK THANK YOU VERY MUCH.  OR HOW COBRA STARSHIP MAKES GOOD GIRLS GO BAD.  MY GOD MY FRIGGIN' BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE I AM GOING TO TURN THAT STUPID STEREO OFF NOW.

    Actually, better.  I'll go do that, and then I think if I ever have money, I am going to buy an iPod, and a really expensive, loud dock, and load up all my Japanese music and turn it up full blast, and declare war.
